1st of 2 Positions: Next page is Assistant Economic Development Manager

POSITION: Program Specialist.

NATURE OF WORK: Major tasks include detailed processing of applications submitted for housing assistance. Includes written and verbal communication with applicants and various parties required to approve applications and close loan transactions. Candidate must be able to readily adapt and implement program guideline changes.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must have 1-3 years of experience in employment of similar nature.  Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public. Mortgage and real estate background required. Desired candidate will be detailed-oriented, accountable, organized, and have the ability to meet the program's target goals. Familiarity with federal and state housing and community development programs is a plus. Excellent communication skills desired. Candidate must have general knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, (Word and Excel) and have experience working with databases.

SALARY: Dependent on Qualifications.
