Community Redevelopment Associates of Florida, Inc. was established in 1990 and has been proudly serving our clients in South Florida and throughout the state since then. CRA of Florida is a minority-owned, urban affairs consulting firm located in Broward County, Florida . At CRA of Florida, we take a pro-active position in meeting the needs of our clients in both the public and nonprofit sector. Through many years of experience (50 years cumulative), CRA of Florida has familiarized itself with the challenges our clients face and their need for creative solutions. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• CRA OF Florida has administered the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), State Housing Initiatives Program (SHIP) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) for 10 cities in South Florida in the last 14 years.
• CRA of Florida has developed and implemented affordable housing programs that have been approved by Fannie Mae, FHA, the Florida Housing Coalition, and HUD. These housing programs are currently being administered in various cities that receive federal and state funding.
• CRA of Florida consistently maintains above-average HUD timeliness ratios for the expenditure of federal dollars.
• CRA of Florida has an established lenders consortium dedicated to working with first-time homebuyers in South Florida.
• CRA of Florida has overseen more than 2000 homes either rehabilitated or purchased in the last 14 years as part of our administration of residential rehabilitation and purchase assistance programs.
• CRA of Florida is proactively involved in policy-making activities with the state of Florida?
• CRA of Florida has worked administratively for projects such as Sunrise’s Sunset Strip Commercial Revitalization Project, Miramar Athletic Park Improvement Project, Pembroke Pines Children’s Harbor Project, the development of the Lauderdale Lakes Community Redevelopment Area Plan, amongst others.
• CRA of Florida completed the 2004 South Broward County Annexation Study which examined the feasibility of the creation of a new municipality (West Park) in Broward County.
